Snowback Back-Up Material
Snowback is a unique back-up material for the use in drilling sophisticated printed circuit boards. It is mainly composed of clean virgin wood fiber, with a thin layer of super hard high temperature resins. The super hard surface prevents any burrs, even with the smallest diameter drills, to produce the best quality holes. Drills are continually cleaned by the wood fibers without any smear, to increase drill life and reduce breakage.
Snowback has a tight thickness tolerance for fine work, while the white color aids in hole visibility. It is available in sheets, as well as in cut panels in a thickness of .093 +/- .005. Tooling holes also available upon request.
